VISION COUNCILS

Vision Councils consist of dedicated volunteers who are familiar with the issue areas that they serve. They make recommendations to the United Way Board of Directors.

The following are the impact areas that the Vision Councils address:

Childhood Development and Early Childhood

The purpose of this Vision Council is to promote emotional, social and physical development of children in Wells County.

Self-Sufficiency for Aging and Vulnerable Populations

The purpose of this Vision Council is to provide basic needs for aging and vulnerable populations to include, but not be limited to, shelter, food, utilities, clothing, transportation and adult literacy.

Health & Safety

The purpose of this Vision Council is to search for and evaluate programs and agencies to address the health and safety concerns of the Community. Programs would include, but not be limited to, drug education, driver education, underinsured medical needs, domestic violence issues, education of health and safety issues and mental health issues.
