Bookends (Building On Our Kindergarten Experience with New Daily Skills) is a 100% United Way-funded program offered in all four Wells County elementary schools. Retired educators provide personalized support during the school day for 9-13 weeks, helping kindergarten students build essential reading and numeracy skills. The program also promotes a love of learning through weekly book gifts and at-home resources.
