We have a really cool way to help you reduce your Indiana State tax burden – Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP) tax credits.
Here’s how they work: The NAP tax credit is distributed to donors at 50% of the contribution amount and the credit is subtracted from the donor’s state income tax liability. For example: with a $100 donation to United Way of Wells County, you will receive a $50 state tax credit. With a $500 donation to United Way of Wells County, you will receive a $250 Indiana tax credit. United Way of Wells County gets the donation to strengthen our community; you get the State income tax credit. Cool!
Organizations, corporations, and individuals are all eligible to make a contribution to United Way of Wells County for the NAP tax credits. Eligible contributions include cash, checks, credit card payments, stock, IRA contributions and more. Talk to your financial consultant about the benefit of NAP credits. Here is the State’s website for the program.
Email pamela@unitedwaywells.org with your intention to make a contribution to purchase state tax credit so we can get all the correct paperwork filled out and make this happen. First monies received get the NAP credits, so don’t wait – they sell fast and once they’re gone, they’re gone.
