Governor Holcomb has signed an executive order that extends prevention of evictions, foreclosures, and the disconnection of utility services.
The prevention on evictions from rental properties and on filing foreclosures are both extended through July 31st. Utility companies must also follow the order and may not disconnect service through August 14th.
This does not forgive your requirement to pay – it is important to contact your landlord, lending institution, or utility company to establish a payment plan to avoid later evictions, foreclosures or service shut-offs.
